Mix It Up: Citrus Sweet Tea 5 Ways

At-home cocktails far too often fall into three main categories: the lackluster 'vodka-soda-splash- cran', confusing craft-cocktails that call for an assortment of random (sometimes expensive!) ingredients, or the dreaded single use store-bought cocktail mixer.
At Owl's Brew, we believe that there should be an easier way to make a variety of cocktails, easily. Each of our tea-based cocktail-mixers are versatile, and can be made into a wide assortment of cocktails and mocktails, depending on your mood, preferences or occasion.
In each 'Mix It Up!', we feature one of our mixers 5 different ways. Break out your inner-bartender! Mix and match, have a friendly competition or taste test, but most importantly, have fun and enjoy.
1. Citrus Sweet Tea
ingredients:
- 3oz Wicked Margarita (Green Tea, Lime and Habanero)
- 1.5 oz Tequila
- 1oz Lime Juice - Fresh lime wheels and watermelon for garnish

- Combine Wicked Margarita, tequila, lime juice in a shaker with ice, and shake.
- Pour into a glass with fresh ice, and garnish with lime wheel
2. Rosemary Gin Fizz
ingredients:
- 3oz Citrus Sweet Tea (English Breakfast, Lemon, Lime)
- 1.5 oz Gin
- Fresh lemon slices and rosemary sprigs
- Seltzer water (to top)

- Gently muddle fresh rosemary sprigs, and lemon slices in a glass
- Add Citrus Sweet Tea and gin into a glass, stir gently
- Fill glass with ice, and top with seltzer. Garnish with fresh lemon slice and sprig of rosemary.
3. Citrus Margarita
- 3oz Citrus Sweet Tea (English Breakfast, Lemon, Lime)
- 1oz Tequila
- Squeeze of orange (you can also use grapefruit)

- Add Citrus Sweet Tea, tequila and orange juice in a shaker with ice. Shake until cold.
- Pour into a glass with fresh ice. Garnish with fresh lemon slices, or jalapeños for a kick!
4. FROZEN Citrus Margarita
Makes 2 drinks
ingredients:
- 6 oz Citrus Sweet Tea (English Breakfast, Lemon and Lime)
- 3.5 oz Tequila (we also love vodka!)
- 1oz Lime Juice
- Fresh lime wheels to garnish ________________
- Combine Citrus Sweet Tea, tequila, lime juice and ice in a blender. Blend until it reaches a slush consistency.
- Pour into a glass and garnish with lime wheels
5. Citrus Julep
- 2 parts Citrus Sweet Tea (English Breakfast, Lemon, Lime)
- 1 part Bourbon
- Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
- Muddle Mint

- Muddle several mint leaves in the bottom of a shaker or a glass. Add all other ingredients.
- Shake and strain into a glass with ice. If you are doing a larger batch, just float the mint and let sit for 20 minutes or so before serving.
