5 Cocktail Ideas for your Backyard Hangouts

We've put together a list of our favorite springtime cocktails, that are easy and perfect for hanging out in the backyard. They all require three ingredients or less, and we promise are fool-proof!

You can make them each as individual drinks, or mix up a big batch!

1. White Tea Rosé

Fresh and light, it's a delicious springtime sangria.

2 parts Dry Rose

1 part Watermelon Margarita (White Tea, Watermelon, Raspberry)

Muddle in basil leaf

Serve over ice or chilled

Muddle basil in the bottom of a shaker or a glass. Add all other ingredients. Shake and strain into a glass with ice (or chill ingredients before you mix them up if you prefer them without ice). If you are doing a larger batch, just float the basil!

2. Citrus Julep

The Derby may be postponed, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy a Julep in it's honor! A citrusy twist on the classic julep, you might just want to double down.

2 parts Citrus Sweet Tea (English Breakfast, Lemon, Lime)

1 part Bourbon

Squeeze of fresh lemon juice

Muddle Mint

Serve over ice

Muddle several mint leaves in the bottom of a shaker or a glass. Add all other ingredients. Shake and strain into a glass with ice. If you are doing a larger batch, just float the mint and let sit for 20 minutes or so before serving.

3. The Beware

Beware, it's too good to be true. The perfect backyard cocktail. Great for big batches or single cocktails. It's always a crowd pleaser.

3 oz Citrus Sweet Tea (English Breakfast, Lemon, Lime)

1 1/2oz Vodka

Float Mint Sprig and Cucumber

Fresh Lemon Squeeze

Muddle mint in the bottom of a shaker. Add all other ingredients. Shake and strain into a glass with ice. Garnish with fresh mint and lemon peel.

4. Hibiscus Sangria

Light and delicious. Perfect for an afternoon sipper or picnic.

Equal parts Strawberry Manhattan (Darjeeling, Hibiscus, Strawberry)

and White Wine (we suggest Sauvignon Blanc or Pino Grigio)

Serve chilled

Float berries

Chill the mixer and white wine. Add the mixer and wine in a pitcher or glass (depending on the size of the batch). Float fresh berries.

5. Boozy Tea

If you don't feel like mixing anything up, might we suggest a Boozy Tea. Our spiked and sparkling beverage that's ready to go. It's always a welcome addition to any backyard soiree.

Drink them chilled or trying adding a little spike. We'd suggest:

Yellow - English Breakfast, Lemon, Lime with a splash of Vodka or Gin.

Green - White Tea, Watermelon, Raspberry with Tequila.

Pink - Darjeeling, Hibiscus, Strawberry with a splash of Tequila or Gin.
